Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup plain or vanilla yogurt
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp honey (or your favorite natural sweetener)

Instructions

  • Wash and hull the strawberries, peel the banana, and set everything out for an easy, stress-free process.
  • Then add the strawberries, banana, milk, yogurt, oats, cinnamon, and honey to a blender. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. This should take about 1-2 minutes.
  • If you like a thinner smoothie, add a splash of milk and blend again. For a thicker smoothie, add a handful of ice cubes or use frozen strawberries for an extra chill.
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass, garnish with a sprinkle of oats or a strawberry slice if you’d like, and enjoy it immediately. It’s breakfast in a glass, ready in just minutes.
