These Chocolate-Covered Marshmallow Reindeer are a fun and festive holiday treat! Made with marshmallows, chocolate, pretzel antlers, and candy faces, they’re easy to make and perfect for holiday parties or a creative project with kids.
Start by gathering your ingredients: marshmallows, pretzels, sugar eyes, Smarties, and lollipop sticks. Lay out a sheet of parchment paper on a clean working surface, where you’ll place your dipped marshmallows to set.
Carefully insert a lollipop stick into each marshmallow, pushing it about halfway through. Make sure it’s secure but doesn't poke through the other side.
Break the chocolate bars into small pieces and melt them. You can use a double boiler or melt them in the microwave in short intervals, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
Once the chocolate is melted, dip each marshmallow into the chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated. Gently tap off any excess chocolate, then place the marshmallow on the parchment paper.
Let the chocolate cool slightly, then attach two sugar eyes and a red Smarties nose. Break pretzels into antler shapes and press them into the top of each marshmallow.
Allow the chocolate to fully harden by letting the marshmallows sit at room temperature or placing them in the refrigerator for a few minutes.
