Assorted sprinkles (optional)
2Tbspchopped caramel (optional)
2Tbspchopped nuts (optional)
Edible gold powder or glitter (optional)
For assembly:
25 thin bamboo skewers
Instructions
Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly. It’s crucial that they are completely dry before dipping to ensure the chocolate adheres properly. Insert a bamboo skewer into the top of each strawberry, where the leaves are.
In separate bowls, melt the dark chocolate and white chocolate according to package instructions. If you’d like to add color to the white chocolate, stir in a few drops of food coloring once melted.
Hold a strawberry by the skewer and dip it into the melted dark chocolate, twisting slightly to ensure it’s fully coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off, then place it on a parchment-lined tray. Repeat with half of the strawberries.
Dip the remaining strawberries in the white chocolate. For a marbled effect, drizzle a bit of the dark chocolate over the white-dipped strawberries while they are still wet, then use a toothpick to swirl the colors gently. Alternatively, wait until the white chocolate sets, then drizzle dark chocolate over it in thin lines to create a striped or layered effect for added texture and style.
While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle your chosen decorations over the strawberries—sprinkles, chopped caramel, nuts, or a light dusting of edible gold powder for a luxurious touch.
Place the tray in the fridge for 20–30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set completely.
For an elegant presentation, arrange the chocolate-covered strawberries in a small bouquet of flowers or on a decorative plate. They’re ready to impress!
