Ingredients

Butterbeer Base

  • 3 cups cream soda (chilled)
  • ¼ cup butterscotch topping
  • 1 tbsp butter extract
  • 1 tbsp rum extract

Whipped Topping

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar

Garnish

  • extra butterscotch topping (for drizzling)

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add the heavy cream and whip until it becomes foamy. Add the powdered sugar and continue to whip using a hand mixer or whisk until soft peaks form. Transfer to a piping bag fitted with a star tip and set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, pour 1 cup of the cream soda. Add the butterscotch topping, butter extract, and rum extract. Stir well until the mixture is fully combined and smooth.
  • Pour the butterscotch mixture into a large mug or divide it evenly between two glasses. Then, add the remaining cream soda to the mug or glasses, stirring gently to incorporate.
  • Pipe the whipped cream generously over the top of each glass, creating a thick and frothy layer. Finally, drizzle extra butterscotch topping over the whipped cream for the ultimate magical touch.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade Butterbeer, just like they do in the wizarding world!
