  • 14 ounces Semisweet Chocolate
  • 6 Tbsp Hot Cocoa Mix
  • ½ cup Mini Marshmallows

Decorations

  • Sparkling sugar
  • sprinkles
  • edible gold
  • crushed candy canes for a festive touch

Instructions

Prepare the Chocolate Shells:

  • Gently melt semisweet chocolate in a double boiler or microwave in short intervals until smooth.
  • Use a spoon or pastry brush to coat the inside of silicone molds with melted chocolate, forming an even layer. Chill until set, then add a second layer for durability.
  • Refrigerate the molds to let the chocolate shells set completely before filling.
  • Carefully pop the set chocolate shells out of the molds.5. Add Filling: In half of the shells, add a scoop of hot cocoa mix and a few mini marshmallows.
  • Use melted chocolate to seal the filled and empty halves together, aligning the edges carefully to prevent leaks.7. Set Again: Refrigerate the sealed chocolate bombs to ensure they are fully set.

Decorate

  • Drizzle with melted chocolate and add sprinkles, edible gold, or crushed candy canes for a festive finish.
  • Place a chocolate bomb in a mug and pour hot milk over it. Stir as it melts to release marshmallows and cocoa mix, creating a rich, indulgent hot chocolate. Enjoy!
