Ingredients

  • 4 large apples
  • 4 cups water:
  • ½ lemon (juiced)
  • A small piece of ginger (optional)
  • mint leaves (for decoration)
  • 1 Tbsp honey (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions

For Blender:

  • Wash the apples thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or waxy residue. Cut them into quarters, removing the seeds and core.
  • Add the apple pieces, water, lemon juice, ginger (if using), and mint leaves into your blender. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
  • Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher or bowl. Use a spoon to press down on the pulp, extracting as much juice as possible.
  • Taste the juice, and if you’d like it sweeter, stir in a tablespoon of honey.
  • Pour the juice over ice for a refreshing drink, and garnish with a mint leaf for an extra touch of freshness.

For Juicer:

  • Wash and quarter the apples, removing the seeds and core.
  • Feed the apple quarters into the juicer, followed by the lemon juice, ginger, and mint leaves.
  • Taste the juice and add honey if desired for additional sweetness. Stir well and serve over ice for a crisp and cooling beverage.
