Ingredients

  • 1 apple, peeled, cored, and diced (choose a red or sweet variety for best flavor)
  • 2 medium carrots – Peeled and diced, to add vibrant color and beta-carotene
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk – Or any plant-based milk of your choice
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ Tbsp lemon l
  • ½ cup ice cubes – F

Instructions

  • Start by peeling, coring, and dicing the apple. Peel and dice the carrots into small chunks to ensure smooth blending. Break the banana into smaller pieces and place it in the freezer for 20-30 minutes before blending; this will enhance the smoothie’s creaminess.
  • Place the apple, carrots, and banana in your blender. Pour in the almond milk to help blend the ingredients smoothly.
  • Sprinkle the ground cinnamon over the top and add the lemon juice for a tangy contrast. Add the ice cubes for a chilled finish.
  • Blend on high for 1-2 minutes, or until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the smoothie seems too thick, add a bit more almond milk to adjust the consistency.
  • Pour the smoothie into a tall glass and finish with a light sprinkle of cinnamon on top for extra warmth and aroma.
