This Mango Lassi recipe is a creamy, refreshing blend of ripe mangoes, yogurt, and a hint of cardamom, perfectly sweetened to taste. A traditional Indian favorite, it’s the ultimate cooling drink to enjoy on a warm day or alongside your favorite spicy dishes.
Add the chopped mango, plain yogurt, milk, honey or sugar, and a pinch of cardamom to a blender. Blend for about 1 minute or until everything is smooth and creamy. If you like your lassi extra cold, toss in a handful of ice cubes while blending.
Give your lassi a quick taste and adjust the sweetness if needed. If your mangoes are naturally sweet, you might not need much honey or sugar at all.
Pour the lassi into glasses and serve immediately. For an extra refreshing touch, add a few ice cubes to the glass before pouring.
If you make extra, you can refrigerate the lassi in an airtight container for up to 48 hours. Just give it a good stir before serving, as it may separate slightly.
