Fried Apple Rings are a simple, quick dessert that only requires a few basic ingredients. The crispy, spiced batter perfectly complements the sweet apple slices, making them an easy and delicious treat for any day
Start by making the batter by combining the flour, milk eggs, and 2 tablespoons of sugar in a medium sized bowl. Stir until combined and set aside.
Peel the apples, then cut them in half short ways, this will make it easier to corethe apples. Core the apples with a knife or you can use an apple corer if youhave one.
Then slice the apples to make rings, each apple should make 4 to 5rings depending how thick you want your rings!
Pour the oil in a frying pan and heat the oil.
Dip the apple rings in the batter and remove from the batter with a fork, letting the excess batter drip off. Place into the hot oil and fry on each side for approximately 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
Once done, place on a plate lined with a paper towel to absorb extra oil.
Mix the ⅓ cup sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Dip the fried onion rings while they are still hot from the pan into the bowl to coat with sugar and cinnamon mixture.
