Ingredients

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or preferred milk)
  • 2-4 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (or sugar-free alternative)
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Toppings (optional)

  • whipped coconut cream
  • chocolate shavings

Instructions

  • In a high-speed blender, combine the almond milk, matcha powder, protein powder (if using), honey or maple syrup, bananas, and ice.
  • Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and frothy. If you like a thicker frappuccino, add a little more ice and blend again.
  • Give it a quick taste test. If you prefer it sweeter, add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup and blend for a few more seconds.
  • Pour the frappuccino into two tall glasses. If you're feeling fancy, top it with whipped coconut cream and a light sprinkle of matcha or chocolate shavings.
  • Sip and savor your homemade Starbucks-inspired matcha frappuccino.
