Ingredients

  • 10 carrots
  • 8 oranges
  • 2 pieces of ginger (1½ inches each)
  • 1 lemon
  • Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Wash all the ingredients thoroughly. Remove the tops and tails from the carrots, leaving the peel intact (just scrub them clean).
  • Peel the oranges, ensuring the pith (the white, stringy layer) is removed to avoid bitterness, and cut them into quarters. Use a teaspoon to peel the ginger, then slice it into chunks. Finally, slice the lemon in half and juice it, setting the juice aside for later.
  • Add the carrots, orange quarters, and ginger pieces to your juicer, working in small batches for efficient juicing. Once everything has been juiced, pour the mixture into a large jug. Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice to balance the flavors.
  • For a smoother juice, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any pulp. If you prefer some texture, you can add a small amount of the pulp back into the juice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an extra burst of freshness and serve.
  • Pour the juice into glasses and serve immediately to enjoy its bold, refreshing flavors. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or as a revitalizing midday drink!
