This Iced White Chocolate Mocha is a creamy, coffeehouse-style drink you can make at home in just minutes. Just like your favorite Starbucks drink—but even better.
2cupswhite chocolate chips(high-quality or sugar-free)
1cupheavy cream or milk
qtspvanilla extract
For the Iced White Chocolate Mocha:
2 cupsbrewed espresso or strong coffee(cooled)
1cupmilk(dairy, almond, oat, etc.)
4-6tbsphomemade white chocolate syrup
1tspvanilla extract
ice cubes
whipped cream
chocolate shavings or white chocolate chips(optional)
Instructions
Make the Homemade White Chocolate Syrup
In a saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips and heavy cream (or milk). Stir continuously until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
Let the syrup cool slightly. It will thicken as it sits, making it perfect for your iced coffee.
Prepare the Iced White Chocolate Mocha
Make your espresso or strong coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature (or chill it for a few minutes in the fridge).
Fill two glasses with ice. Divide the cooled espresso between the glasses, then add 2-3 tablespoons of the homemade white chocolate syrup to each. Stir well to blend.
Pour ½ cup of milk into each glass and mix until smooth and creamy.
If you love that coffeehouse touch, add a dollop of whipped cream. Sprinkle on some chocolate shavings or a few extra white chocolate chips for a fancy finish. Stir, sip, and enjoy.
