Tips & Tricks
- Ensure smooth Oreo balls: Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps in the mixture.
- Work quickly when decorating: The chocolate can set fast, so have all your decorations ready to go before you start dipping.
- Use a fork instead of a toothpick: If the toothpick isn’t sturdy enough, a fork can help support the Oreo balls while dipping them in chocolate.

Storage
Store these Rudolph Oreo Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They will stay fresh for up to 1 week, making them a perfect make-ahead treat for holiday parties!
Variations
- White Chocolate Rudolphs: Dip the Oreo balls in white chocolate instead of dark for a different festive look.
- Peppermint Oreo Balls: Add crushed peppermint candies to the Oreo mixture or sprinkle them on top for a minty holiday twist.
- Rudolph Variety: Use different colored M&M’s to create a fun herd of reindeer with various nose colors!

- Take a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into small balls. Place the balls on a plate and refrigerate them for about 1 hour to set.
Prepare the Garnishes
- While the Oreo balls are setting, melt the Ghirardelli’s chocolate wafers according to the package instructions.
- Prepare the candy eyes, red M&M's, and broken pretzel halves by placing them in small bowls for easy access during decorating.
Decorate the Rudolph Oreo Balls
- Insert a toothpick into each Oreo ball and dip it into the melted chocolate. Carefully remove the toothpick and place the ball on a parchment-lined plate or baking sheet, making sure the hole from the toothpick is on the bottom.
- While the chocolate is still wet, immediately press two candy eyes, a red M&M for the nose, and two pretzel halves on top to create Rudolph's antlers.
- Repeat the process for all the Oreo balls. Let them set until the chocolate hardens completely.
